Bill Liu

Bill Liu is an Executive Director with equity research responsibilities on Asian e-commerce and internet companies.

Mr. Liu has been covering the internet sector for more than 10 years. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he worked in the investment research divisions of Goldman Sachs and AllianceBernstein. Before moving into investment research, he worked in the strategy department of China Resources, a state-owned conglomerate that controls more than 10 listed companies in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He also worked as a software developer in the financial industry.

Mr. Liu holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where his team won a Silver Medal at the World Finals of the 31st International Collegiate Programming Contest.
