Abhishek Sahoo, CFA

Abhishek Sahoo is a part of the Portfolio Management team for the EM Small cap funds at Franklin Templeton Emerging Markets Equity.

His responsibilities including fundamental research, portfolio monitoring and generating new ideas for the portfolios. Previously he had research responsibilities for Indian Equities at FT-EME.

Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2018, Abhishek was as an Investment Analyst with Citi Equity Research in Mumbai where he focused on the Indian Financials sector. He has also worked on the Indian Oil & Gas sector in the past.

Mr. Sahoo holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India. He has worked with Deloitte & Touche in the past, and is a CFA Charter Holder.
