Hong Kong/Singapore/Malaysia, 29 May 2024 - Franklin Templeton today held the latest edition of its Megatrends Accelerate webinar, an online event that brings together investment experts to share their perspectives on thematic and topical issues facing investors.
India is on the path to become the world’s third largest economy by 2027, according to forecasts by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). As the country continues its weeks-long elections, the webinar featured experts from Franklin Templeton Emerging Markets Equity team to discuss the theme, India at the ballot box: Outlook and Investment Opportunities. Apart from navigating the implications of the election, the panelists also explored the long- term outlook and investment opportunities in India and other emerging markets in Asia.
