HONG KONG, January 16, 2025 – Franklin Templeton has announced the launch of its new Franklin Global Low Volatility Bond Fund, with Hang Seng Bank currently serving as the distributor in Hong Kong. The low volatility strategy, managed by Chris Siniakov, Andrew Canobi and Joshua Rout from Franklin Templeton Fixed Income, aims to harness yield opportunities in high-quality global bonds.

Managed by a dedicated and long-established fixed income team, the Franklin Global Low Volatility Bond Fund primarily invests at least 65% of its net asset value in investment grade1 debt securities issued by governments, government-related entities, including supranational organizations supported by several national governments. Designed to capitalize on global yield opportunities across various market segments, the low volatility strategy also emphasizes active duration management to ensure that portfolio volatility is controlled within the target limit.
